Dual

They work together when left to their own devices, but find it almost required to take sides and contradict themselves in group settings. They are them and they are Dual. Neither finds it necessary to have a name beyond their shared one. Perhaps it is something to do with dragons not always needing names. Regardless, there are names to separate them; Right & Left, Happy & Grumpy, Foh & Moe and many, many others. With their naga-like lacking in lower limbs it is not exactly clear what they are technically; a two-headed dragon or a hydra? It doesn't help that Dual was originally found after they were struck by a plane, without any memory of what came before. The theory is that Dual could easily be identified as a hydra or dragon, if only one or the other head were lopped off. So naturally, neither really care to find out.
Artistically I tried to keep the image in balance. I wanted Dual's face to be visibly strange, yet I wanted him to seem "normal" enough to be able to pass as human. Equally I was trying to balance out the most striking feature of it's dragon form with more natural colors.
